Darkhorse

This Arc’teryx film is more than a snowboarding film—it’s a portrait of a low-key legend whose life is rooted in family, wildfire work, and freeride snowboarding. With a grounded philosophy that shrugs off fame in favor of substance, "Darkhorse" is an outdoor sports documentary that celebrates snowboard mountaineering, authentic storytelling, and the freedom to pursue passion for its own sake. For Lax, it’s never been about likes—it’s always been about the line.

Mammut - Jeremie Heitz

For Jérémie Heitz, a freeride project is a mission. He starts with a vision, climbs a ridge or peak under his own steam, then finishes with the perfect line down a steep, snow-covered face. Inspired by the original legends of freeriding, the path he has taken through ski racing and the Freeride World Tour has led him to a point where he knows how to put the "free" in freeride: the freedom to evolve and learn in order to be as versatile in the mountains as possible.

Shaped by Wild

This Arc’teryx film is a sweeping adventure documentary that explores over 1,200 kilometers of British Columbia’s Coast Mountains—one of the wildest, diverse, and awe-inspiring landscapes on Earth. Through the lens of those who have chosen a life immersed in BC wilderness, the film reveals a deep connection to mountain adventure and remote living, shaped by alpine climbing, backcountry skiing, snowboarding, and ski mountaineering. From rugged peaks to dense forests and ocean shorelines, the geography of the Pacific Northwest exerts a powerful pull that defines the outdoor lifestyle of those who call it home.

Yeti Presents

When she’s yelling into the moonlight wondering why she does this, Sydney van Loon must remind herself that it’s simply because in trapping, she’s found her purpose. After the line’s former owner, Jurg Hofer, deemed her a worthy successor, Sydney now has the exclusive rights to harvest fur-bearing animals in the 532 square kilometer trapline in the Yukon. It’s cold, hard work, but she takes great pride in providing fur — a sustainable, ethically sourced survival textile — for the local community.

Arc'teryx - Climbing Through

When there always seems to be a tornado of obligation surrounding us, how do we commit to the moment and connect to the magic of now? Motherhood, guiding, her own counseling practice—professional climber Julia Niles has danced between responsibilities for years. Lured by her friend, pro athlete Em Pellerin, to go climb the big walls of Cochamó Valley, Chile, Julia relearns what it means to thrive. High off the deck, tied together, every action becomes a powerful reminder to slow down and embrace the present. And the experience becomes the fuel for what’s to come.

Searching For Awe

Today, virtually all information is readily available at our fingertips. With Google Earth, Fatmaps, and GPS in the palm of our hand, 'the unknown' or what lies over yonder, is no more. This begs the question: is there any real adventure left? Perhaps there isn't. However, what makes our time in the outdoors remarkable, is the emotions we experience in them. Even after the advent of smartphones and wireless technology, we can still be left with an overwhelming sense of 'awe': "a feeling of reverential respect mixed with wonder and fear."
